Our introductory filmmaking program is designed to expose students to all aspects of filmmaking – from story development to lighting and camera to post production. By the end of the filmmaking program, students have an overall understanding and basic skill level for many of the departments in production, as well as an inkling of where their talent and interest is best applied.
In addition to learning business and technical skills, students also learn invaluable social skills: the teamwork required to be part of a crew, the importance of clear communication and reliability.
